Reimagining roofing
We began Sun Vault Roofing to reimagine the future of roofing.
Asphalt shingles are a fossil fuel-based technology first invented over 5,000 years ago. Traditional rack-mounted solar panels undermine the integrity of your roof at the expense of clean energy. We started Sun Vault Roofing to solve both problems at once by popularizing solar shingles and becoming the top solar roofing company in Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

Co-Owner | Business & Finance
With a decade of experience in the roofing industry, Kyle has led projects across residential and commercial sectors. His background in accounting and business management brings a strategic approach to operations and financial oversight.
Outside of work, Kyle is an adventurer. He enjoys hiking, running, and traveling to explore new cultures and landscapes. His passion for exploration fuels his creativity and drive, making him an inspiring leader both in and out of the workplace.

Mike Mannion
Co-owner | Operations
Mike brings over a decade of expertise in roofing and construction to his work in the solar roofing industry. He is deeply committed to helping clients transition to sustainable energy solutions, combining extensive industry knowledge with a strong dedication to renewable energy. Mike is driven by a desire to make a lasting positive impact on the environment by transforming the way people think about roofing and solar and popularizing solar shingles.

Outside of professional endeavors, Mike enjoys hiking, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with his wife and dogs.

Co-Owner |Growth & Solar
Jon has been combining his love of technology and sustainability for decades, and is excited to enable households in Wisconsin to reimagine roofing. He is driven by the challenge and opportunity of modernizing roofing technology, some of which (e.g., asphalt shingles) has been in use since the time of ancient Egypt.
When not at work, you’ll likely find Jon fishing for walleye, competing in a badminton tournament, playing the viola, battling his pickleball addiction, or goading his friends with reckless hot takes.
